I have an acoustic guitar which I want to learn to play so badly..I just don’t know where to start, I have no idea. Please help?
1) Acquire a guitar and tuner.
2) Learn to balance the guitar on your knee and be able to maneuver your fingers freely around the guitar without having to hold the guitar up, when letting go of the guitar with your left hand the guitar should NOT fall down it should remain upright (most people have bad positioning which causes them to not be able to move their fingers freely over the neck)
3) With your right hand learn to correctly position the guitar pick in between your thumb and curled index finger.

4) Make sure the guitar is in STANDARD TUNING EADGBE, always make sure the guitar is in tune.
5) Learn to press down on the fret and pick the string at the same time.
6) Once you’ve got this down and feel like your ready to learn music go online search guitar tabs such as mxtabs.net and learn how to read tabs and search songs that you like and learn how to play them.
7) PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!
Thats how i learned i self taught myself now id say im an advance guitar player.
