Best Guitar Course to Learn Guitar at Home?

OK, so I bought an electric guitar but learning from free stuff on the net sucks. Where can I find the best guitar lessons course, so i can learn at home (i DON'T want to learn with a teacher). Or maybe – where can I find a site where I can read about such lessons?

Hi,
I agree that the free stuff sucks. I spent ages trying to find good free resources. some were OK, some were plain bad, but mostly it's a waste of time. Considering you can find some good courses for about 12GBP ($25), it's just a waste of time. As you said – better buy and spend your time practicing.
IMHO the best guitar course is LMG. I use it and it's great, although it's a bit expensive. Nevertheless – I now play pro, and this course is what brought me to it. True – I practiced and practiced, but this gave me a great base and helped me progress considerably. If you want to go pro – that's the one!
The best resource I can recommend to help choose courses is http://www.ReviewsNest.co.uk/GuitarLessons (if you're from the US – they also have a .com site at http://www.ReviewsNest.com/GuitarLessons ). They review some of the best courses (incldng. LMG, plus less expensive ones), reviews are much more thorough than in other review sites I know – you just see that real musicians wrote them!

May your guitar lead you to happiness,
J.E.
