I need a beginner's guide to electric guitar that's usable. I have spent all night searching the internet for something, but all the guides begin at chords, and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to hold the pick, and where you supposed to put your fingers on the frets.
Any websites or books (pay or free) would be greatly appreciated.
The best way to learn the guitar is to take lessons. Your teacher will help you with all of the typical beginner's questions like how to hold your pick and about a million more. Good luck.
