Can I still learn how to play acoustic guitar with electric guitar dvd lessons?

Mostly yes, alot of it your gonna have to skip though
Like using an amp, how to mess with the volume and tone controls, using a Whammy bar, things like that.

All the things relating to using your fingers and scales and such, can still be valuable
