Absolutely.
Although it definitely doesn’t hurt to maybe get some basic lessons in chords and scales to get you started.
After that, just go online and search for Chord Charts and son ‘tablature’ (a way of writing music for guitar down – instead of 5 lines like traditional music, there are six – each representing a string, and then there are circles with numbers in them to represent which fret your finger needs to be on).
