What is the best way to learn how to play the guitar? I want to learn, but I also don’t listen to a lot of rock music. I do like a few rock songs though. I can play the beginning of Fur Elise.
Get a good teacher. And I don’t mean someone who will just teach you the songs that you want to know and riffs etc. Get someone who will teach you everything, like how to hold a pick correctly, chords and all the other stuff you will need.
Practise is also key.
