Well for some you could just make them 7ths, but some would have to be major 7ths as well. Making every chord a 7th would give it a jazzy feel, and if you wanted to try making some of them 9ths, that could give you a beautiful open sound. Yes you found all of the basic triads in that key, and i personally believe that an Em7 chord and a Gmaj7 chord are two of the prettiest on guitar.
References :
when your making a chord progression on guitar, can you take all the chords in that key and make them 7th?
So when your making a chord progression, lets say for example in G, u can take all of the chords in the key of G, like G Am B C D Em F and whatever else i cant think of and make them a 7th and it would still be in the same key and sound good and stuff like this? if u make one chord a 7th would it sound best to make the other ones 7th too? and one more Question.... did i name all my major and minor chords in G up there and if not what all did i miss. sorry im just getting into all this becides my open chords and all my E shape barr chords, other than that thats all i know. Thank you for cooperating with my dumbness. lol. and have a Great afternoon!
