Tricks when buying DVD movies for the teenage boys
Watching movies is one of our favorite past times. You can find DVD movies for sale everywhere. Just look at how much money is spent at the box office each week. And it’s not just going to the theater that captivates us. We just like movies. It’s a great form of entertainment that anyone of any age or any fitness level can enjoy. Especially in the teens, DVD movies are been sought-after so much. When it comes to the DVD movies for the teenage, here we have a look of them, Agile tell you some tricks to buying them for the teenage boys.
First you must understand the priorities of said boys. No matter what community you live in or what moral practices you believe in, teenage boys are motivated by pretty girls. They don’t need to be showing a lot of skin; in fact it is more alluring when left to the imagination. Nonetheless this is an essential ingredient in popular movies for teenage boys.
A second important factor is the almost absolute necessity for explosions, guns, space travel, or some other special effects. It is a very unusual teenage boy that falls in for foreign films, Classic movies or indie productions starring Meryl Streep. It is not the boys do not exist, but they are quite uncommon. Stick with science fiction, super-hero, fantasy, or war movies for the most part, with the occasional inappropriate comedy. Note that some of the suggested titles below may be more inappropriate than some parents might like, and if so such is notated in the comments.
Note that most super-hero movies are a safe bet as noted above. The Wolverine solo story in X-Men Origins is more appropriate (no sex, minimal blood) while still having great effects and super-heroic theme. It’s also a pretty good story overall with excellent actors and a solid script. Classic Super-Hero movies like Superman or Batman or even the fairly recent Spider-Man movies are generally unpopular because the effects are out of date even though they are great movies, given the option go with something recent.
War Movies are usually popular but there haven’t been any really distinguishing ones this year. Defiance was good, and for your history buff teenager that’s a solid recommendation, good cast and historically accurate. For something recent and more extreme, go with Inglorious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino’s WWII move.
For comedies, teenage boys are all about inappropriate. Generally the grosser the better and the inclusion of sex and/or violence certainly help. For conservative while still funny to a teenage boy, go with I Love you Man or Year One. But if you want to really give them what they want, go with something grosser or more (or less, depending on your point of view) mature like Observe and Report or the Hangover (which was brilliantly funny but wildly inappropriate).
