I, too, think he …
I, too, think he was more Albert King than Hendrix….with some extra power, passion and intensity…which gave him a marvelous uniqueness

By TeleKeith on June 6th, 2009 at 7:54 am

I always liked his …
I always liked his voice as much as his guitar work. It was a one-two knockout punch. He was one cool cat. My brother saw him in Bloomington, IN. Said Stevie was so plowed that he stepped on the cable and unplugged the guitar. He kept playing as the roadie ran out and plugged it back in. Never even noticed. Bro said he almost fell a few times throughout the night, but played spot-on for the whole time.
I was in the Navy (pierside in Ireland) when I heard the helo went down. Sad day fo all.

This is boring. Almost as boring as listening to a metal guitarist non-stop shred. Pauses are nice!

I do know though, that he could do better.
