I just bought a guitar and i was wondering where should i start? I want to know the proper methods of playing the chords and the name of the chords and where to place my fingers. I would much appreciate your gratitude if you can give me a great site that teaches you all about the chords.

You're a million times better off getting lessons from a teaching professional. It will get you off to a good start and keep you from picking up bad habits that will have to be un-learned later. Good luck.
