I know I dont want to play electric, I definately want to play acustic. Is there a good book that someone knows is great to learn from?
Also, which beginner guitar would you suggest? It can't be too expensive, but I can pay about two to three hundred dollars.

I tried to teach myself guitar. Here are the best things I have found.
Guitar for Dummies
Complete Idiots Guide to Playing Guitar
Youtube.com has a lot of free video lessons.
Video tapes are a good tool too. If you don't understand something you can just rewind and try again. Mel Bay has a line of videos for beginners to advanced players.
Most importantly play with other people. You would be surprised at how much you can learn, by just playing with other guitarists. Even the not-so-good ones can teach you something.
Download Tabledit or Powertab. Those are some great tools in my opinion.
