I have a cable which connects the MIDI sockets to the USB socket on the Wii but the Wii doesn’t want to notice that it exists and is connected to it. It has 7 pads and 2 pedals. It is a Yamaha one.
Is it possible to use my MIDI-compatible drum kit as a controller in Guitar Hero World Tour and how?

I asked this guy but his English and my French aren’t too good.
Only the official Guitar Hero drums that plug into the remote are compatible with the Wii version of GHWT without some sort of technical trickery. The game will not recognize USB drums, which is why the Rock Band drums are not compatible.
If you’re so desperate why don’t you just ask the guy on YouTube how it works? Obviously he got it working.
