Classically trained guitarist actually grow the nails on their picking hand out purposefully to get a cleaner clearer sound than would be available just hitting the strings with the end of their fingers, so in that sense dolly’s nails may be more help than hinder … as for her fretting hand … I can’t imagine being able to play anything but the most rudimentary barre chords with long nails.
