I asked a question about 2 weeks ago asking if playing Guitar Hero helps with playing real guitar. Most people said no it makes you worse. How does it make you worse? I’m a beginner at playing electric guitar. It might be different to those people who have been playing Guitar Hero then start playing guitar, but I’ve been playing guitar before playing Guitar Hero.
ok, it most certainly doesn’t make you worse, it actually helps you.
Since in guitar hero you have to stretch your fingers an awful lot, after about a month you will notice the difference when playing chords.
As a guitar teacher i have noticed my students who play guitar hero have a better reach for chords.
Its just idiots who think if you play guitar hero it makes you dumb and a wannabe guitarist. Just ignore them.
