I dont want or expect to be a wicked ass solo player like Herman Li or anything. I just want to be able to play some crunchy rythm guitar. Would it be really hard for a bassist to play rythm guitar in the same style of music?
Not hard. But the guitar has much closer string spacing. Be prepared for it.
