Question by duo_trialen: How many hours should I spend a day learning to play guitar?
I been tryin to teach myself how to play the guitar for the past 2 years now, going on 3. Ive had nearly no luck, and each “how to play guitar” source i get all say different things and its driving me nuts. Can anyone acutally give some heart to heart advice? Im trying to learn the 70′s classic rock type of deal. Maybe something like a jazzy funk rock type of sound. Kinda Steely Dan meets Earth Wind And Fire. Im trying to teach myself on a Ovation Breadwinner. There is a japanese guitar player im trying to play like and ive spend years studying his music. So i figured that would help, as i know what sound im trying to go for. But yeah, im wanting some actual advice. Like what i should do as far as learning, techniques, how many hours to spend learning, and stuff like that. My dad was a well respected guitar player when he was alive, and i want to keep that legacy going as a bad @$ $ guitar player. Im in my mid 20′s wit no. All i do is play videogames and feel i could be spending that time on the guitar.

practise it everyday for 2h and be patient
