I'm not a gamer so I know nothing about this, please help me!
My husband already has Guitar Hero (plug in guitar) on PlayStation2.
He's been talking about getting Wii, plus I think he'd love Guitar Hero World Tour because it has drums on it, so I'm thinking I'll buy both a Wii Console and GHWT Wii game for his birthday.
These are the links to both on Amazon:

When I read the review of GHWT Wii on Amazon it says
'Worthy of note is that you need a Wii controller per instrument – so if you have lead guitar, base guitar, drums and microphone, you need FOUR Wii controllers (even though the mike plugs in to USB at the back of the Wii). '
But the GHWT Wii game doesn't have a bass guitar. I could buy a version that does, but assuming I just buy the normal one, how many extra Wii controllers will I need? The Wii Console comes with 1 controller and a nunchuk. Does the nunchuk count as a controller for the purposes of GHWT Wii?
If I buy normal GHWT Wii it comes with guitar, drums and microphone. Do I need a Wii controller for each of those 3, and if so, do I just buy one extra controller as the console comes with 1 controller and 1 nunchuk, or do I need 2 extra controllers?
I'm so confused!
I obviously want my husband to be able to play the game (along with me and friends) straightaway when he opens it, I don't want to have to then buy another controller, but it's pretty expensive already, so I don't want to buy controllers at £30 each if they're not necessary.
Hope this makes sense, thanks for helping.
A nunchuck isn't a controller so if you have 3 instruments and it comes with one remote then you need to buy 2 extra remotes!
Also you can buy the bass guitar separate i think. If you buy the GHWT with the base guitar then you need to buy 3 extra remotes.
The nunchuck is used in other games on the wii so it is normally best to have a nunchuck for every remote. Hope this helps!
