Bugman63 no if you played a basic blues chord sequence with A, D and E they are all in the key of A so you would only play A blues pentatonic over the whole thing, e.g. Johnny B Goode is B pentatonic blues the whole way, over all the chords.

Okay i just have one question. would you locate A,C, G, D notes around the fret by moving them with octaves? Like how the c note is 8th fret low e, would you locate it again on 5th fret d string?

okay let me see if i got this,, when i jplay in the key of A ,, and the cord changes to the D i just do the pattern in the D box? and then when it goes to E the E box.. and back to A ,,, is this how i would do lead in the key of A>?

you can start on g and still be playing the a minor petatonic scale becasue A,C,D,E,G, are all the notes in the a minor pentatonic scale
