When i play my guitar really fast my fingers tend to get cut and bleed quite alot, it isnt my fingers tips its actually on my finger between the nail and the first joint bit, is there anyway to stop this?
I forgot to mention, I use a pick and have no nails it seems to be that the string are hitting and rubbing against my finger ( it mainly happens to my right index finger)
You may need to wait a while until they heal pretty sure that means you’ve been playing a tad too much. You’re going to have to make the skin on the tips of your fingers stronger, the more skin comes off the tougher it is underneath gross i know.. my guitar teacher told me that when he was in high school he used to rub his fingers on his desk to toughen them.. weird, seems to have worked for him though but make sure you cut your nails as shorttt as possible!
