how to strengthen my pinky finger for guitar ?

I’ve been playing guitar for years now, but whenever I use my pinky finger, it doesn’t seem to be strong enough. It like, locks itself sometimes and it’s really annoying. I remember my violin teacher saying that it was really weak but can’t remember the exercises he told me to use to strengthen it. Can anyone help?
Sorry for the weird question…

1) Play a D chord and keep lifting on and off your pinky finger (on the Gnote)

2) first finger on first fret of high E string. With pinky, hammer on the 4th fret (G#) and pull off. Keep repeating. To jazz it up, switch the pinky to the 3rd fret and try it. Also switch to the 5th and 6th fret (if you can stretch that far).

3) put your 3rd finger on 12th fret. Hammer on and pull off with pinky on 13th fret
