Guitar Courses Reviewed: Most Aren't Worth A Lick!

i want learn electric guitar ppl told me to learn you have to play on an acoustic 1 first is that true ?

honestly i dunno any musicians to ask and i do like hard rock and metal music. some guides say it's easy to start with acoustic others just got 2 categories if u want learn electric press here if u want learn acoustic go the other way am confused. help pls.

It's not so much the instrument, but the dedication to the art that will get you through. Music is made by discipline and sweat.

The answers you are getting are opinions. Although acoustic and electric guitars look the same, and the frets and notes are the same, they really are quite different instruments. But they're close enough.

Play what you want to play, and practice with diligence. Incessantly. That's the key. Most acoustic players later pick up electrics, and most electric players later pick up acoustic guitars. Most of the fervent guitar players I know have plenty of both, and some of them also have lutes and banjos in their collection as well.

Personally, I wish I had learned piano first.
