i dont play any guitar yet but recently i have developed an interest in learning how to play the electric. the electric guitar im going to start with is my sisters since she never learned to play she let me have it. so any tips or free lesson type sites would be much appreciated
There are loads for free lesson sites – Google them. YouTube has countless videos on playing.
Get some guitar amplication you can use with headphones – keep it low, don’t blow your ears.
Get a guitar tuning device.
Play along with a drum machine once you learn the basics – it will sharpen your technique. You could use a metronome but it is really irritating after a while.
Be prepared to put a lot of hours in. It takes a while to get good.
