Hi all.
1. I want to start playing guitar (electric) and I’m 18. Am I too old for starting this instrument?
2. If it’s right to start at this age then should I start with acoustic or electric? (I want to play guitar for heavy metal genre)
3. And please give me some general advises for playing guitar.

1. No, you’re not too old to learn an instrument. You can learn at any age.
2. I would probably start w/ acoustic first. When I started, I was given an acoustic first. Then I moved to electric, but you can probably learn with whatever you want.
3. Practice, practice, practice!!!!! It takes a lot of time and patience and persistence to learn. Every time you sit down to play, you can learn something new. I’ve been playin for 10 years now and am still learning new tricks and techniques. Try easy songs, then move to more difficult ones. Good luck dude!
