I am seriously considering taking guitar lessons or just learn by myself (IF it is possible). I also want to buy guitar as well, but I have no clue where to get it AND where to take lesson from. I currently reside in Denver, CO if this helps…

What you need to do is not worry about how hard or how easy it might be. First, buy a guitar, (kijiji, craigslist, any music store) recomended squier if you want electric. As for lessons, you’d have to search it up on the internet or find an advertisment near you for on or inquire with people you know. I’ve only been playing for about a half a year or maybe a little more, and i’m a girl but seriously i only started taking professional lessons within the past month (only been to 2) and i was still pretty good before that. Self teaching yourself IS an option but you have to be dedicated, you have to be on the computer all the time searching guitar tabs and even annoyinger- chords! I strongly suggest going to lessons in the beginning because thats what i did but at first i went to un-professional ones where you pay as you go so after you figure out all the basics to learning you could stop those to save you money.
