is it hard to learn the electric guitar?….how many months can it take to learn it fully?
and how much can a electric guitar cost…a squier fender stratocaster?
it takes alot of patience and its not something you really ever learn "fully" i started learning when i was 10 and i still learn different things today… sometimes from people not near as experienced as i am. its just that there are so many possibilities with what you can do that you never really quit learning ….but you probably want to know how long before you can start shredding like a pro, well that depends … some are very quick learners and some are not … some people seem to be naturally gifted… but all have to take the time to practice to train their hands to do certain things ….the main thing is if you really want to play dont give up when you think your not progressing fast enough…. it takes alot of patience… learn any where and any how you can… try to soak up other peoples knowledge and always try to jam with people that know more than you…they can teach you the most
edit: a fender squire which looks like a strat is fairly cheap a couple hundred dollars and would be a great starter electric….a genuine strat is an expensive guitar that can cost over $1000….also another answer mention starting with an acoustic which is a good idea… if you start with a cheapo like i did you will really learn to apprieciate a quality guitar when you get one in your hands.
