With 2 hours a week of lessons and practising everyday.
I have been playing guitar for 7 months now and have been playing everyday for 50 mins and practice 2-3 times a day. I still have a lot of things to learn. I am not pro but I cant say I am a beginner either. I agree with the answers above me. You wont master the instrument, but you will learn the basics of it. It will take a long time to fully master the guitar.
