i want to be able to perform with a few friends but be a lead guitarist (electric 6 string). or what kind of level do you think is achievable in that short amount of time. i can only practice for about 4 hours a night.
or do you have any ideas or experiences as how i can achive this or any little trick you know to help me perform.
it doesn’t really matter if you have a private guitar teacher or a home course. as long as you practice, you can become a pro. I started off with a guitar teacher just to learn the basics but after that, I was able to teach myself with a chord book and some internet websites. try to watch one of your favorite guitarists play. Just seeing their style might help you. If you want a good performance, when you are playing and you mess up, don’t say that you messed up because most of the time, people don’t notice.
