I want to learn how to play the acoustic guitar but would like to know how hard it is to learn.
With proper instruction and an open mind(Not to mention a drive to keep practicing), you can learn quite a bit about guitar in even a year or less of lessons. Learning an instrument is not very difficult. Becoming good at it and mastering an instrument, definitely is! Just keep practicing and keep your goals in mind, like why you want to be good at guitar and what you want to do with that skill, and things will become easier. You’ll hit a few ruts, it happens to everyone, but the good musicians are the ones who play through the hard times and never give up!
Do what you love. If you really love guitar and want to learn it, do it! If you don’t love guitar and don’t really know why you want to learn it, then reconsider all the reasons why you want to learn.
