Question by American Guitarist: Keith Urban’s “Ghost in this Guitar” vs. Brad Paisley/Steve Wariner’s “More Than Just This Song?”?
The Brad Paisley song features Steve Wariner.
These two were put up against each other because the Urban song talks about learning guitar from an old man while the Paisley/Wariner song talks about the two guitarists guitar mentors and, for Paisley, his guitar teacher.
Anyway, I really like “Ghost in this Guitar” and I also really like “More Than Just This Song.” I think I’d have to go with “Ghost in this Guitar,” at least at this time.

I just felt the need to add that, although I like “Ghost in this Guitar” better than “More Than Just This Song,” I still think the guitar work by Paisley and Wariner in “More…” is better than that of Urban’s in “Ghost…”. In fact, I also think the words in the Paisley-Wariner song are more well-written. I still like “Ghost…” better though, at least for now.

I like them both but I’ll go with
Ghost in this Guitar.
