Hey, I just took guitar lessons for the next month, and I got a dvd program (value 250 I think) for the summer since they don’t give lessons. I was wondering, is it really hard to learn? I’m planning on playing the more I can (I will have to stop if my finger hurts lol). Like at least 4 hours a day. Will it take forever to be able to play punk rock stuff?
Ramones-type punk stuff is mostly barre chords and fast downstrokes. Newer kinds of punk may be a little harder, but punk in general is supposed to a simple kind of music. Or, to put it philosophically, "Punk- a minute to learn; a lifetime to master"
