sorry idk the brand..but it was a little black box..lol like that helps
If those are the instructions for the tuner, then that's kind of weird. If it has a display screen to show you which note it is reading, and some sort of indication of sharp (#), flat (b), and in tune (usually a green light), I might be able to explain it for you. Your strings, from heaviest to lightest, from lowest to highest pitch, should end up reading as the notes E A D G B E in that order. Whenever you pluck an open string, you need to make sure that the tuner is registering the right note. If you're too far off, you may need to play that note on a keyboard or piano first as a reference note to tune to. As long as the strings are close enough that the tuner reads the appropriate note for each string, it will tell you how far sharp or flat you are of being in tune. If the tuner reads sharp, turn the tuning key for that string clockwise. If the tuner reads flat, turn the tuning key counter-clockwise. Do this slowly, until you get the tuner to balance between sharp and flat. Usually there will be some sort of green light that will indicate that the string is in tune. Follow the same steps for each string, until they read from the top of the guitar down, from heaviest string to lightest, E A D G B E, and then your guitar will be in tune.
