I used to play piano so i already know how to read music. i heard guitar is alot different to piano and same as drums. i really want to learn both but i can only pick one, which should i learn ? also, if i learn electric guitar do i have to learn acoustic first ?

iv heard that guitar is pretty similar to piano, in terms of sheet music. dont know about drums. but also, piano and guitar are in the same group of instruments…stringed (or so iv heard anyways…so dont quote me ^^’)
and no, if you go with guitar you dont NEED to go with acoustic first. people say its easier to learn acoustic, then switch to electric. but really…i think it only complicates things. the size of the neck (in terms of width/depth) is bigger, so it will only throw you off by a little (or it did me).
so if your set on electric only, just go with it. but if you wanna go for electric and acoustic, then go with it.
i dont know much about drums, so…sorry.
but overall, this is your choice. people can give tip after tip on either instrument. posting their two cents worth. but really…its all on you. which one do you think is cooler/better. do you find it more entertaining to beat on a drum, or to strum a guitar?
