I know that you can just throw a party and whip out your guitar, but it says in my game guide that it’s possible to play at other people’s parties too. If so, how???

when i play sims 3 with my main character i try to meet new people and get closer to them like go out to the park talking or something and if u become best friend with someone like i did you can invite him/her to a party or two and if it was a blast he/she will invite you the his/her party that have happened to me several times
