I looked for the musical notation online but I found out that no one had tabbed it out, so I just listened to the song and then played it by ear. I should have done that in the first place. I have it down, the rhythm guitar bit, and also the guitar solo… I would like to know a forum where I could submit a tablature?
My favorite guitar notation forum is lacuerda.net, but all tabs submitted have to be songs in Spanish and this song is of course in English… I don’t use any other forums for guitar because I love lacuerda.net so much, lol.

I’m referring to the Susan Tedeschi version, I love the Ray Charles version but I am a guitar player.
Don’t let appearances fool you, all my life I’ve had to deal with people who assume that because I’m young and female that I can’t possibly be knowledgeable about the guitar. People look at me and just assume I’m a bimbo who knows at most a couple Jewel songs… or maybe a few chords… but don’t judge a book by its cover. I know my scales, pentatonic major, minor, diatonic, etc, and arpeggios, and how to play solos… I haven’t given up on being great. Ok I’ve written too much but don’t discredit me bc of my appearance, so many ignorant people have done that.
Oh yes, I do sight read (on the staff) as well as reading tabs. I learned how to sight read when I was classically trained but playing by ear… hmm, it’s just a habit. People have varying opinions on this but to me, it comes naturally to hear a song, on the radio, and play it back on the guitar. I’m not sure who has a similar experience?
I simply go to search & enter Guitar tab & get plenty of hits where people like us create the content. Thanx for the tip for Lacuerda.net !! I’m hoping they have some Ozomatli or Los Lobos. Maybe Rancheras too
