i just got a new guitar and there was no manual and i know where the whammy bar goes but i screw it in and it just spins until it gets tight then i cant do anything how do i get it to work?

In image #2, to the right of the bridge, see that hole? Just screw the bar with the white handle from picture #1 into that hole.
To use the bar, strum a note, then grab the bar and push the white handle towards and away from the guitar, rapidly but gently.(just for testing)
