Question by tui717: What makes a decent guitar player?
At the moment, I’m teaching myself how to play guitar. I know a few chords, but not enough where I can confidently say “I play guitar!”
My question is, about how many chords does a decent guitar player know? I’m not talking like a rock star or a Jack White type, just an average person who plays.
I’m just wondering out of curiosity and to see if there are differing opinions.

Practice, practices, practice….Learn as many styles as you can.
