Here’s the deal…I’ve already made my first Drum solo DVD "Stick to your stix" back in 2006. I actually made a full color Designed DVD covers, and duped about 20 copies and gave them away free to my closest fans, friends, business partners & family, etc. they liked it, but it was more like joke really. Also, because the vid was too goofy & silly to release on a Professional level so I dropped it
So now, I’m actually filming my 2nd DVD right now…so far I have about half the Studio footage done from 2 weeks ago. I actually got much better, faster drums solos on this one than 2 years ago so my drumming is 20% percent more accurate now than what you hear on my site. The MP3 songs on my Myspace site are from 2006 so they are old mistakes and thats how it is musically.
So, my question is THIS?
What would YOU, as musicians would like to see in a DVD from another musician? I’m fishing for ideas here on my next 2 DVDS because I’ve got some really wild, innovative ideas on what I’m going to do in my next 2 DVDS.
1. Would you want to see a step by step Drum Lesson Instuctional DVD? Where I show you my tips & tricks for doing drum solos, grooves, odd time patterns.
OR
2. Would you like to see a Guitar instructional DVD teaching you my personal secrets on how to actually compose songs and also rock/metal riffs? I’m basing this solely on my own unqiue style of composing songs…not someone elses style.
OR
3. Do you want a see drum solo DVD? Nothing but raw, in your face drum solos all the way through, no lessons at all.
Maybe you could get 1 or 2 other musicians and have raw, in your face jams? I’ve never had video recording (other than some embarassing stuff when i was a beginner) but I have some audio of jams with 3 piece bands, some of those are my most favorite to go back and listen to. They’re not polished and definately not very "pro" sounding, but they were mostly improvised, fun do do, and fun to go back to.
