I am a guy highschool age.
I am looking for a song that people would be able to enjoy in my area since country isn't too popular, but that is what I sing. I want it to be pleasing, something that could bridge the gap between country and ordinary people who don't listen to it.
You could always go with a Johnny Cash song. I love country music, but of course, a lot of people don't. I haven't found a person yet that doesn't like Johnny Cash. He did a cover of "I Won't Back Down" made popular by Tom Petty, but done awesomely by Cash. "Ring of Fire" might also be a good one.
