There are several guitar websites out there. They can show you show you how to play but they can’t TEACH you. I myself tried to learn by myself on the internet (and though its possible) I got really frusterated and wasn’t seeing any progress. I strongly recommend you take lessons, even for just a few months to get you on your feet with the right techniques and hand positions, you will see much more progress I assure you. I ended up continuing lessons, (they aren’t THAT expensive) and have learned more than I thought I could in a year and certainly more than the internet can teach me. There is always something more to learn on the guitar, but the internet can only get you so far. If you are serious about guitar, take lessons, you will be much better off.
