so i bought a guitar the other day…but not a very good one because my parents wont let me buya really good one until i learn to play. well…they wont let me get lessons so i need to know a good way to teach yourself 
is it just learning chords? or is there more to it? please help me!
start with a good chord book and some acoustic guitar song books. Learn the basic major, minor, and 7th chords and as many simple songs that you can play with them. Lessons are the best way to learn so keep bugging your parents about it
