I’ve started to play guitar a while ago and I get that you need to develop callouses etc. but are your fingers supposed to crack? Because the tips of mine where I press the strings down onto the frets are quite literally cracked. What can I do to like.. heal it and does every guitar players’ fingers’ crack????

Yea girl, lol that’s normal. that’s just the outside layers of skin getting ready to shed because callouses are forming underneath. Don’t worry eventually they will smooth out. To speed up the process, play until they hurt, then play some more. Good Luck!
