My friend ordered Guitar Hero III for Wii, and we just recently went to retrieve it. It was new, fully functioning; we tested it at her house. Leaving it in the wii, we travelled to my house, hooked it in, got it up and running, and started the game. The opening cartoon sequence plays, but then it says there is a disc read error and to check the manual. What should we do?
I have the same problem. Its just a minor problem, I dont want to mail it to nintendo. Here is what you do.
Take the disc out
Turn wii off.
Turn wii on.
Reset the wii.
Press eject.
go to wii menu (default)
Wait around 30-45 secs
put wii game in
do not click on the wii disc channel until the guitar hero 3 thumbnail comes up.
Click on the thumbnail
Wait
Wait
PLAY!
